Then this past week, several news outlets reported the White House had told Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer of New York that the president would release the funds if Schumer helped rename New York City's main train station and an airport near Washington, D.C.
Asked about it on Air Force One, Trump didn't entirely dismiss the idea.
