So as you identified, he came from kind of a working class background.
He didn't go to any special schools or universities, but he had this drive to get out of that neighborhood and he had a drive to be rich, according to people who went to school with him.
And he set himself on a trajectory of making contacts.
He seemed to understand that to get rich,
far in this world, in the world he wanted to be in, it came down to who you knew.
And so he was very adept at making those connections, and he was very adept at scamming and lying and selling himself as some sort of financial whiz.
He just sort of seemed to have a play going on all the time.
