99% of the stuff I was handed wasn't true.

And this is a giant cognitive dissonance moment where people are saying, what do I do now?

And so a part of my task, Don, is I always say, I feel like I'm a spiritual death doula or I'm working spiritual hospice.

I'm trying to help them lay down old toxic theologies, ideologies, like, hey, give yourself grace.

You were indoctrinated.

Like I was indoctrinated, but now our eyes are open like Saul turning to Paul.

And now we get to gracefully lay down a lot of these ideologies and theologies we were handed.

But also, Don, it's even larger than that.

In the Christian world, we talk about deconstructing your faith.

Oh, my God, that's one small part of it.

Like, I'll tell you what else is happening.

It's not just deconstruction.

It's decolonizing that's happening.

It is a full deprogramming that is happening right now in lots of people.

That's why our building is full.

I mean, people are having not to just rethink the white, Republican, English, blue-eyed, gun-toting Jesus that they were handed.

They're not just laying down that.

they're having to learn U.S.

history for the first time because the U.S.

history they were handed was completely whitewashed in untruth.
