And when we came back from COVID, there were about 12 to 15 people in the room.
And we all just looked at each other like, do we want to call this quits or do we want to keep going?
And we all were just like, for our own sanity, we just need to get together in a room on a regular basis and just ask each other a simple question.
Did you see that this week?
Did you see what I saw this week?
And just sit with each other and see what the divine might be doing in the midst of all of this.
And so we decided to continue.
And it has been quite the ride done.
A couple of weeks ago,
was the first time this has ever happened in the history since I've been the pastor there.
But one of our guys walked in, I don't know, about midway through the service before I was about to speak.
And he walked me, I was standing in the back and he walked over and he leaned in my ear and he said, Hey, he said, I just wanted you to know there are no more parking spaces available.
And yeah,
I just started laughing because I'm like, my God, Don, what a world we live in.
But I say that to you because I am encouraged.
And also, by the way, Don, there's a metaphor there.
And I think it's happening in the American empire, too.
But there is a now we use this language, a deconstruction and a reconstruction or a death and a rebirth.
And I think that's a part of what's happening, not just like our spiritual collective is like on a micro level, but I think it's happening on a macro level.
And what I mean is the building's full because there are people showing up right now and they're going, oh, my God.
