And but you're you're not a book or a novel publisher and you don't necessarily know all the ups and downs.
And so they all of a sudden are sitting on a bunch of inventory.

We also learned some other reasons later, uh, like a weird borrowing scheme.
But n despite that, I mean, there's something like 150 to 200 novels for Dragonlance, depending on how you count re-releases and compilations and stuff.
But it is an unbelievable amount of novels and they've been super popular, right?

And I think, you know, like some of the novels back then that there were certainly wild, neat settings and stuff, but but it's almost like de facto today that I I expect when I pick up a fantasy novel today, it has a here's how the magic works, here's how the gods work, here's the special wrinkle around, you know, these three species, right?
But back then, a lot of the stuff I
Read was actually pretty vanilla, right?
They would have some wrinkles for sure, but a lot of it was sort of like, you know, there are dragons, there are mages, there are blah blah blahs.
And then it was just a story with those components.
And Dragonlance was one of those worlds that just really, I think, captured the imagination of people because the world of Crin and the main continent of Ancelon had both a series of interesting stories to tell about its.
It's backstory, primarily the cataclysm when the gods punish the all-powerful nation of Istar, sending a mountain crashing into the main city.
And everything about the world changes.
And so the current era is dealing with the repercussions of that.
And is is all it's it's descended into myth.
And even the time before that is just total myth legend, which there were gods walking the lands that have you.
