This goes back to 1984 and first edition, and it goes almost hand in hand with novels, right?
You have Tracy and Laura Hickman publishing adventures such as Rehasia and Pharaoh.
Faro's my favorite under the under the company Daystar West.
And Tracy gets a job at TSR.
They're driving on the way to TSR, and on that drive, they
early version of the Dragonlance setting.
When they get to TSR
Tracy sits down with staff and is discussing the setting through a lot of ways, including like, hey, each adventure will fight one dragon.
And you'll make it, you'll be able to fight all the dragons that way, right?
Um, the adventures actually come out first, but later that year, uh you get the novels.
Tracy and Margaret Weiss write the novels that cement the setting story.
Dragons of Despair, Deal One, um uh Dragons of Autumn.
Twilight, the first novel.
Those both come out in 194, but the novel beats it, uh, or novel comes after the adventure seven months later.
Um, many internal playtests happened at TSR.
Like people really got excited by what was happening, both novels and adventures, which is why I got so much energy and approval.
The first five adventures, Sean, were all published in 1984.
Yeah.
And and Shannon Apple Klein was the first person I saw who wrote about how it was possibly this overreach with the success of the books that caused TSR to go bankrupt, right?
One of the key reasons because they just kept sort of borrowing to make books because it was all going so well.
