I mean, what does it mean to you?

They say that, you know, time is a healer.

And as I say, we're 15 years on now.

Would that be something that you agree with?

Absolutely not.

It took nearly two years before his body was found.

So for you and your family, I mean, how does life continue as normal when you don't have closure, when you don't know anything about your dad's whereabouts?

How do you just get through day by day?

And then when your dad's body was discovered, talk me through your reaction.

Was it shock?

Was it relief?

How did you feel?

The trial got a lot of attention from the public and there was a lot of media each day in the court.

For you, dealing with all of that and this story and the story of your dad and his death being thrust into the spotlight, was that difficult to deal with from your perspective?

Patrick Quirk was found guilty and he's currently in prison serving a life sentence.

You regularly receive email notifications as to his whereabouts in and out of prison.

I imagine that's obviously something you had signed up for initially.

But now when you see those emails come in, I mean, what does that do to you?

How do you feel about that?

Patrick Quirk will be eligible for parole in five years.
