Oh, goodness.

10 years, maybe 15 years, something like that.

Yeah.

So what's your background?

Well, I come from a place called Wellingborough, which is near Northampton, and small town.

but a lovely little small town, but nevertheless, small town.

So I never really had like grand ambitions of being an academic or I was always going to be a builder.

Cause that's what my dad was.

But, uh, somehow I just kind of ended up going to university and then ended up here.

So there's a bit of a wild story really.

So a lot of twists and turns.

And I, I've carried that.

I carry that through my life as well, which is why I love listening to you guys, because it's something quite humanizing about that, being able to just be open and share.

You know what?

I stood on that stage and I felt terrible and I didn't think it was good enough.

And that's the same for me.

I've done so many things now, like talks and podcasts and all the rest of it.

every time i kind of not sure of myself i'm always uneasy i'm not quite sure if it really went down that well yeah um so you know that sort of insecurity that self-doubt definitely a feature of my uh maybe my upbringing small town you know elevated myself into this kind of new world so maybe there's a bit of that but oh that's interesting yeah yeah so you just so from the off you feel like you don't belong in this sort of bigger world
