But yeah, so the, I think it's an imp actually, I think it's an imp logo.
But yeah, so yeah, no, I yeah.
So I'm, I'm,
very standard Vancouverite I cheer for England usually at the World Cup and I like the idea of just cheering for Canada outright until they go out this time now that it's like a serious team and the World Cup sort of qualifying round is kind of watered down making it pretty easy to advance.
I think we're now just expecting like we're expecting Canada to play elimination games this time for the first time.
Yeah, I don't know him very well.
I don't know him at all, personally.
You know, obviously a ton of experience at the minor league level, and if you have a ton of experience at the minor league level, that means you're capable of doing a lot of work and wearing a lot of hats, generally speaking.
Like, I look over that resume with three years in the ECHL as, like, a head coach and GM, and then, you know, an eight-year run as a general manager.
down in Ontario and think this is a guy who's, if you're looking for an executor, this is the track record of a guy who's going to be able to handle a lot, uh, because that's what you have to do at those levels.
Um, you know, my, my view of it basically is this is the sort of help that they need for sure.
But big picture, I still, I'm going to be worried about the lack of
you know, like NHL strategic experience that the Canucks have assembled in terms of this front office.
I think your sort of run of managers, when you look at two co-presidents who've,
got no experience, a general manager who's never done it at the NHL level, a new AGM who's never done it at the NHL level and didn't really seem to have an NHL portfolio with the Kings organization.
And then, you know, Cammy Granato and Emily Castonguay who have been AGMs across the last three and a bit seasons, but didn't have large portfolios.
You know, that, that combination I think is, is,
just a little short in the teeth in, in terms of the, the sort of like robust supervisory experience level that I, that I think I would have liked to see the club bring in given how critical this off season is.
And, and given the fact that they're really trying to navigate something that we haven't seen in 25 years, which is how do you rebuild in an era of endemic cap growth?
Right?
