I think this team needed to lean into a rebuild two, three years ago to make it so that it wasn't going to be quite as painful as it's likely to be over the next five years.

I only said it every day on this radio station for the last three and a half seasons.

But the truth is, is that during Alvin's tenure, I would say that the Canucks were at least operated.

Like there were all those times where they captured the maximum amount of their cap.
And like, I still think there was a, or the way that the team interacted with the American League affiliate, I would still say there was a significant improvement when they moved to Patrick Alvina's general manager from, and I know this is a very low bar, from what we saw during the Jim Benning, like we ran out of time, period, in Canucks, you know, operational history.
And likewise, like one thing I'd say about Jim Rutherford,
I think Rutherford did a really good job, mostly, of managing up.
