So I think it's more about...
how little we know about anticipating what's next for the club.
We know that they want to be patient, but what does that mean in practice?
What's that going to look like when the moves start flying, when the bullets start flying effectively of the NHL offseason?
That we're still waiting to have a better sense and understanding of.
And so I think as we try to translate what we've seen before into a prediction for what's next, I think worrying about budgeting makes sense, but I don't think...
we should use that quote as sort of reasons to be worried about it.
I think the actions of the club have provided ample enough cause for that.
Well, you've got to try something.
You've got to try something.
When Bruce Boudreau got him going after that long break,
I mean, last time it was six months.
Now it's been two and a half years.
So I don't want to draw a straight line between Pedersen's struggles toward the end of Travis Green's tenure and the start of Bruce Boudreaux's tenure to what we've seen the last two and a half years.
But when that ended, when that period ended, it ended with a bunch of games in which Pedersen played on the wing with Bo Horvath and kind of got his game going.
You know, at this point, like more than anything else,
what I don't want to see or what I think is problematic, like what I want, what I want to see this club do is just get Pedersen moving again.
You know, like I want to see the speed scores go up.
I want to see the, and maybe it's not physically possible.
I mean, I, again, we know so little about what's happened to this guy's form, but, but, you know, he used to be a 98th percentile skater in this league and now he's a 70th percentile skater.
