Yeah.

Right.

He became the authority through Tom Dundon with that organization, ultimately becoming assistant general manager and then interim general manager after Don Waddell's departure.

And then finally general manager in 2024, I would expect a president's title is, is in the offing at some point, given what we know about Nashville, for example, and Toronto both trying to poach him during this hiring cycle.

Yeah.

The look, everyone wants to talk about the nerds and I want to give a special shout out to a Canucks Army alumnus and a local guy named Reese Jessup.

Reese Jessup was the editor of Canucks Army.

I brought him in when when I was when he was just like a young, bright eyed, bushy tailed guy.

He ended up sort of devising some of the research that became Shamsheron.

and the potato outdrafting general managers.

And while he's got this R&D blogger background, he was an amateur scout when I was in Florida.

He was on Buchla's staff and then moved over and has become, you know, a senior guy with the Carolina Hurricanes.
