Yeah, I mean, the size and speed is giving these Hurricanes defensemen who are all really good players just fits.
I mean, Jalen Chatfield a couple times last night was like going back to retrieve a puck and then all of a sudden Howden was just there and just pickpocketed him and created a chance out of it.
They're going to have to find a way to deal with that.
I think the other interesting thing in this series is there's been a lot of goals, as you said, Jamie, but it's been very low event from a shots on goal perspective, especially for Hurricanes games.
It feels like there's five minutes left in the game and they're both just barely breaking 20 at that point.
And there's been a lot of chances for both, but that kind of strikes me as more of a preferred Golden Knights style in terms of game script or playing environment.
And so I'm just really curious to see if that translates into these games going into Vegas.
And I think they would register like 55 shots on goal in these two games.
And I went back in preparation for my show this morning and I think like seven or eight of those were dump-ins from the neutral zone that they just like made up as saves for Carter Hart.
And so very bizarre scorekeeping and stat padding going on for everyone involved.
But yeah, you know, the Golden Knights shot blocking
I can't believe that Braden McNabb did not get credit for a shot block after taking a 90-mile-per-hour slap shot off the nose.
