Before we can really call him the freak, the Martian, whatever you want to say, he's got to prove it.

And this might be a chance for him to prove it.

This creates a humongous opportunity for Jason Dominguez.

I know I mentioned Spencer Jones only because we saw what he did in his first spring training game, but this creates a huge opportunity for one or both of those guys.

They still got to prove it, though.

I think it's probably a couple of reasons it's so late.

One, he's recovering from ACL surgery.

He had surgery on his knee.

You should follow his Instagram.

You can see him doing his rehab stuff all around.

But also, he has a role with the commissioner.

He's a special assistant to the commissioner.

So I'm assuming a lot of the regular season, he's just busy.

Busy, yeah.

I mean, he does play a ton of golf, but it's not like he's just hanging out playing golf every day.

Right.

And he's available any time.

I think he has...

you know, responsibilities as a job to do.

And so it probably is the date that makes the most sense for his schedule.
