And so you look at him and you're like, oh, man, he only has one, right?
And you look at the Babe Ruth who had, I don't know, what did he have, five, seven?
I think he had seven championships.
Luke Gehrig, Mickey Mantle, obviously Yogi Berra's got the most with 10.
But you go look at all the other retired numbers, and you're like, man, there's a lot of championships there.
He's only had one.
But it's also the new reality for the Yankees.
It's the post-2000 Yankees.
This is the new reality.
Greatness is defined not necessarily by the championships, even though you want them, but they're not winning them like they used to.
Yet you still had some great players.
