I 100% agree.
But the problem, Evan, and this is an expected narrative for would-be great quarterbacks,
His doesn't fit it.
You know what I mean?
Most greats that we think about that win Super Bowls ultimately, because we know these statistics, and I think I've said this multiple times, if your team has won a Super Bowl, I think it's 70-something percent.
It might be 76%.
The quarterback is or is going to be a Hall of Famer.
And so the narrative doesn't fit for a guy who got drafted first, second, what pick he was?
He was number three overall.
Three overall, failed, and then bounced around, and then had a little bit of success in one stop, and now goes to a Super Bowl.
And now if he wins...
That doesn't fit the narrative of what the quarterback is supposed to be.
It's not how you find your quarterback.
And so sometimes it takes guys like Sam Donald to defy the logic that we want to throw on every single player that gets drafted into the league.
But I think he went to the Super Bowl before.
Yeah.
No, you're right.
You're right.
But Nick feels like he was never really a solid one-team guy.
No, he bounced around.
