Someone told me a story.

One of the coaches – this was an off-the-record –

You know, not during a live podcast.

It wasn't really off the record.

But Colin came in after a game.

It might have been the A&M 4 overtime, or it might have been an Oklahoma State game.

Those games were always physical and honestly a little bit dirty.

We had some really shocking footage of things going on.

But Colin comes in and had to get help to just take any gear off.

He had just played an entire football game looking like he was ready to go some more and could barely walk.

And when they took off his –

Pants, he had a face mask perfectly bruised into his thigh.

They had gone, you know, like the inside of his thigh where he couldn't, didn't have a pad.

And they said he was just covered in abrasions and bruises.

He looked like he'd been thrown in a blender.

You're right.

He's got to be careful with that.

He was superhuman in many ways and could play through that.

Avery's a smaller guy, and we've seen him get bounced off the turf in Boulder, Colorado a couple seasons ago and have to come out of the game for a while because he just can't take those kind of hits.

I think so.
