The big topic, obviously, number one was food, because offensive linemen are always going to talk about food.
And then number two, we were talking about the NIL thing and how that all worked out.
A lot of them are actually taking a pay cut now to come to the Kansas City Chiefs.
Now hopefully they make the team and get an opportunity to make a lot of money in professional football.
But a lot of them are getting paid pretty good money to go and play at the schools they were at.
I think it was a couple at Northwestern, one at Indiana.
I can't remember where the other guys were from.
But the NIL thing, and they were talking about now there's GMs.
in college football where the GM is basically in charge of the NIL and distributing the NIL and making sure the NIL payments are made on time.
And if they didn't get paid on time, these guys we're talking about, obviously they didn't raise their hand and say they did this, but they had teammates that they didn't get their check on Monday or Tuesday or wherever they got their checks.
That's the world we live in right now in college football.
What's good, better, and different doesn't really matter what you think about it.
The reality is if they're not getting paid, they're not going out on the field to play.
That's very interesting to me that seeped down into college and how that works out where guys say, hey, I didn't get my check on Monday or Tuesday from wherever they get their checks from.
Yeah, that's the world we live in in college football.
I mean, what's not to... I guess I'm missing...
It's a good guy to put on your practice squad and see what you can develop.
So, I mean, I think that it's probably going to happen with these kids that they signed from the rookie trial.
