And not all critics of ICE are people who were candidates for deportation.
When you see the memo that Bondi put out to Patel, looking after critics of the administration, critics of ICE.
To me, and I guess that's where I'll close.
If there are some misconceptions about whether Palantir is actually doing the spying or whether they're keeping the data, which they aren't.
It feels like it's one of these things where the risk associated with Palantir,
Like it's a tool.
And so the risk is tied to who is using the tool and what they're doing with it.
That's exactly right.
I mean, and it was clear from the first Trump presidency that this would be a very powerful tool in the hands of an authoritarian regime.
And the concern now is that we have taken a turn to authoritarianism and Palantir is facilitating, its technology is facilitating that.
And you can't just say, well, it's just a tool and they have no responsibility for it.
They make choices.
I mean, CARP has not said,
what his red lines are.
I assume there must be red lines, that if ICE starts doing this, that maybe Palantir will reconsider its work.
But it's not in his interest to say that publicly because it's not in his interest to piss off Donald Trump and Stephen Miller.
But we would like to think there are lines that can't be crossed using Palantir's technology.
We just don't know what those are.
