Whether they've been here for two days or 20 years, they all fall under the label applicants for admission to the U.S.
under the Immigration and Nationality Act.
In other words, aliens present within the United States who have not been admitted by lawful means.
Since the Trump administration has expedited deportations under the INA, it has been brought to court hundreds of times over due process claims of illegal aliens.
Attorney General Pam Bondi on Friday called the decision a crucial legal victory and a significant blow against activist judges who have been undermining our efforts to make America safe again at every turn.
