Attorney General Pam Bondi said yesterday that Joel Vargas Escobar of El Salvador had been arrested on Tuesday and charged with racketeering conspiracy involving 11 murders. Vargas Escobar is in the U.S. illegally and was previously deported in 2018. He is suspected of being part of the command and control structure of MS-13 in Las Vegas and California.
