A-Train trips, trying to dodge a woman he doesn't want to slam into, and falls down, getting injured, and Homelander catches him.
Then A-Train laughs and says, what was I ever afraid of?
Without those powers, you're nothing but an effing loser.
Pathetic.
And then Homelander snaps his neck.
And there are a couple scenes here that could have been really good.
Look, the over-the-top woke stuff, strip that away, and these are great elements.
Homelander, he was experimented on as a kid, but he's effectively Superman, has never truly understood what it means to be loved or to have challenges.
And A-Train is like, what was I even scared of?
You're a loser.
After Homelander kills him, he's sad because he actually did think of A-Train as a friend for a while, and they could have made it better.
They could have made it better.
I did like that A-Train said without those powers or nothing, but you need a little bit more exposition, in my opinion.
He could have said something a bit more, a better explanation.
saying that, like, you've never experienced anything hard in your life.
The only pain you ever felt was the weird emotional pain from being born in a lab.
And that is something that regular people won't respect.
And you could be like, it's sad.
Yup, you didn't have it.
But you treat people like things instead of actually trying to help people.
