I fished a lot over there with them. And I see this boat coming down the river. And there's this gentleman perched on the front of it. And he's got sunglasses on. He's got a military crew cut. He's kind of dressed in military-type clothing, and he's got a bunch of guys with him. Very rugged-looking dude. He looked like what I would imagine that a drug trafficker would look like.

He gets to the shore and disembarks at Paisano's house where I'm standing. So I'm standing on the shore. And, of course, here I am, 19-year-old kid, dreadlocks at the time.

And everybody who encounters me in the jungle is baffled. And then I open my mouth and talk and I can speak. Not only do I speak Spanish, I speak their dialect of Spanish, which is equivalent to like redneck English.
