So that's public federal land, not state land.
And Nixon's people were putting pressure
on getting that land.
Of course, Watergate with Watergate, not only did that pressure campaign end, but the then Nixon Foundation collapsed.
The one that exists now was created well after Watergate.
So the idea of putting pressure on a locality or on the federal government to get land that wasn't really yours for a presidential library, that didn't start with Trump.
Nixon attempted to do it, but Watergate ended those particular desires.
