That's why we're there.
We don't bring...
billions of eyeballs like some of our competitors, but we've got an incredibly strong system.
We've got to protect that with everything we've got.
I don't know if we can protect it in the same way and the same level that we have enjoyed over 20 and 30 years before.
And I know you bring Malcolm Speed on the show occasionally.
I'm not sure when he's on next, but- Oh, great.
Well, I mean, I have huge regard for Malcolm.
He's been very kind to me in my early tenure here and given me a lot of advice and we've spoken a lot.
And
I'd be fascinated to hear his views because the way he described his time in Cricket Australia was a much simpler system.
He used to explain to me they had an amount of broadcast rights, amount of ticketing revenue, and then they'd pay that to players and then run the organization.
It all sounded so simple and relatively easy to construct in a world where it's changed so much.
I'd love to hear some of his views on how you combat some of that change.
So maybe put that on your question list tomorrow for Malcolm, who's effectively one of the founding fathers here, who's done so much work, not just in cricket, but Australian sport, and his voice should be heard.
Yes, I do.
And I've had some conversations with players about that.
So the short answer is yes, I do.
In five years, if that happens again, will we be able to compete with that?
That's the question that's effectively what you and I are debating right here.
