I'm less concerned about the immediate position, but what's occupying my mind is the next position.

There'll be young cricketers in our systems that you or I or others have never heard of yet and they'll be forming their careers and the decisions they make will affect Australian cricket's future at some point in time.
We have to be ready and I have to make sure that Cricket Australia has all the arsenal and weapons in order to keep them and attract them and retain them in our system.
but sitting around and waiting for things to happen to you is not a strategy.

And again, I don't think that's a strategy that's worth accepting.
We have to make key decisions now.
I'd rather make the decisions than hang around and watch things happen to us.
