Yep, they're buying their headquarters.
They're not buying Crown Center and the Western.
Right, they're just buying where that stadium's going to go.
They're buying the 15 acres that the stadium's going to sit on.
Then they would lease it back from Kansas City, Missouri.
That's how I understand it.
So they're going to buy it.
I don't know if they're going to buy it for $2 or $10 billion from the halls.
It's a big building, and it's going to have to come down, and there'll be work, whatever.
So they're going to buy it there, and then they use the word convey, whatever.
They're going to, in some way, make sure the city gets it.
And I asked Mayor Lucas if the city's going to own it or if it's going to... They don't need a sports complex authority.
Something, some government...

The Chiefs Stadium is going to be owned by the state of Kansas.
