I put Bobby Brister in.
I finished out the season like the last three or four games.
We were like 2-2, but Bobby was getting better each game.
He hadn't played all year.
And we get into the playoff game against the Buffalo Bills.
I put Neil O'Donnell back in thinking that no starter should lose his job to injury.
At the time, I thought, okay, that's the way it should be.
I was thinking that's the proper way of doing it.
We get into the game, and Neal hadn't played in over a month, didn't play well.
I don't think I made the right decision at the time.
I sat back and said, wow, I put a guy in who hadn't played in five weeks for the biggest playoff game of his career.
Anyway, so I'm thinking that myself.
I go over to the house.
afterwards another kind of Sunday or like it was after all the playoffs were over and We're sitting there and I'm we got all the kids were there and my brothers are there My dad was in the sitting the same same seat pops an iron city beer.
Yes, I bet that was damn Steelers How dumb was that was it start start Neil O'Donnell hadn't played over a month over Bobby Bristol I go dad I go that was me your son to make that decision.
You know, he said, he goes, well, I'm sure you had a good reason, but it's still a stupid decision.
I'm like, okay, do you want to hear it?
So, you know, my dad was that guy.
He was a Pittsburgher through and through.
I mean, he'd sit in the kitchen and listen to Modern Cope on the games.
