Like James Magnusson was sort of long retired when he agreed to do this, so I can understand his perspective.
But the big one will be if this Enhanced Games continues, if a current Australian athlete decides to go over and dope.
Ben Proud in the UK is a silver medalist in the 50-meter freestyle at the last Olympics, and he's probably the biggest case of
being a current athlete and saying, I'm going to go and do this.
So as reported last year, Cole Chalmers got a significant offer of about $3.8 million when you bundle in shares and the whole rest come on board and do this.
And he said no.
And I guess like a lot of other sporting events around the world in different formats, live golf, money talks.
So we will see.
But yeah, I think Swimming Australia will be pretty confident of keeping their own swimmers for now.
But yeah, the enhanced guys will be chasing clean and doped athletes for sure.
From a viewing experience today in the few hours I've been here, it has been a bit underwhelming.
Like I was expecting more in terms of like I've covered a lot of sport across the world that hasn't rocked my socks and me walk out of here thinking it's going to be the future of sport.
Clearly, they believe that these enhancements and everything they say you have to keep in perspective that they're trying to sell these things to the masses.
So this is not just another sporting organization starting something.
There is a vested interest here as well.
So
Like it's a fascinating story and that's why we're here covering it.
But as far as changing the world and you talk to swimmers and athletes in normal sport and they're pretty content where they are and are pretty mortified by how this is all playing out and undermines what they're doing to a certain extent.
