Just really embarrassed himself.
But, you know, he's still the chairman.
I'm told he's a fantastic farmer, so I'm happy for him.
You know, value our farmers, love our farmers.
But I'll tell you this.
I think he's overstepped what's going on.

And I think that's why the president's saying what he's saying.
This is a really bad precedent for the Republicans.
So you're now going to bring in a former president?
Congress is going to bring in a former president in front of committee?
You know whose antenna went up with that right away.
Trump's.
Trump's antenna went up with that.
Not just Trump's, but maybe like Trump's kids,
Maybe like Trump's extended family.
OK, because I can tell you there are Democrats that are salivating at what Comer just did here.
And this will be the Comer precedent.
This will be the Comer legacy.
And so when Jared Kushner or Eric or Junior or their kids are sitting in Congress in depositions, they can blame James Comer.
