They provide access to cleats if a kid is playing football and doesn't have the necessary equipment.
And so we knew we were going to work with them and we needed a partner to do this event because our money that we raise can't be spent out of our own pocket.
We have to find a nonprofit to spend it through.
We ended up getting three large inflatables.
We had 90 University of Wisconsin women's track athletes and UW lacrosse swimming and diving team, men's and women's, 90 volunteers running this event.
We had our partners at the parenting place, the La Crosse Public Library and La Crosse Community Theater, our Seven Rivers Cape organization.
We had hands-on CPR training for kids at this event.
So we had dummies out there, mannequins out there, and our fire department team and Seven Rivers Cape team was there showing kids how to do CPR and what an AED is.
our step into how we start raising funds for this organization for our next initiative.
We had a large amount of people attend the UWL women's basketball game and the community is there.
And there was an aha moment that Connor and I had yesterday.
We have found the right people to attend these events.
We had 400 participants with, those are the eighth graders and under that came to this indoor carnival.
