Yeah, it was only a couple years into me doing stand-up, like seven nights a week at the comedy store all the time.

And somehow I ended up, someone's like, hey, I have a friend in WWE if you want to have a meeting with them and just talk.

And I went in with straight-up ideas.

Yeah, they offered it, but I would have had to move to Connecticut and take a train to New York every night to go do stand-up, and that would have just been exhausting and everything I heard because Patrice O'Neal, the late, great Patrice O'Neal, wrote for WWE for a while.

The whole shebang.

When you're a WWE writer, they make you write.

It's not like a cute job at all.

I was like, dude, you do not want to live in Connecticut.

No, that's the main thing.

If it was anywhere else other than Connecticut, it kind of would have made more sense.

If it was in New York City, it would have been a no-brainer.

If it was in L.A., definitely.
