Yeah.
Anything is better than nothing.
Yeah.
And I don't know how old the girls are, but obviously.
12 and 14.
Oh, did he say that?
Oh, I'm sorry.
we fight like man i don't know i try to i try to educate her as well as i can but one of one of the other things i think would help tremendously and this is what i did for my boys when they were at that age is i got them into martial arts now
One of the things I want to say, I want to make absolutely clear that relying on martial arts or any type of hand-to-hand defense, it's not the thing that you should rely on.
That's a last act, a last defense in most cases, right?
But obviously, children of that age are not going to be able to legally carry a gun.
Now, if you want to train them in the house and something like that happens and you're responsible and blah, blah, blah,
Okay, that's a different story.
But day-to-day activity outside the house, walking to and from school, to and from the bus, things like that, obviously not going to be able to do that.
But something is better than nothing.
And one of the things I think that you would get from martial arts is learning situational awareness.
learning at least some of the skills to help defend yourself i almost hesitate to say this but there's a lot of martial arts schools out there that want to quote unquote teach but what they do is they take your money and they hand you a belt and say great job because you kicked a pad you broke you see what i'm saying it's it's not they don't give you realistic training and
When I was an instructor, some of the parents were real super excited about some of the things that I was teaching their kids.
They were like, let's do violent.
We're here teaching self-defense.
