You don't know what he's saying.
He's telling you this stand-up routine, basically, making you laugh.
And then you're thinking, oh, this is a crime story.
Because this is the golden age of crime.
Agatha Christie, everybody is Marjorie Allen, etc., etc., etc.,
He's like an amateur sleuth.
He takes the glass in a biscuit box.
This is detective stuff.
And then he has a friend at Scotland Yard, the classic staple of a British detective story of this period.
They talk about the race gang, the fights, the shooting, the law.
It's a crime story stuff.
And then...
There we go.
Turns it at the very end.
So I liked it for that.
The only thing I want to say is... So the car's gone.
The grease of the candle wax is on the floor.
So he's been there.
