So I was more than happy to work this case.

I'm a young detective, and I'm starting to get good at my job.

Right.

Again, don't want to keep Monday morning quarterbacking this person, but the drive, my opinion, really wasn't there.

Uh, this jaded, I mean, easy.

This person, um, is no longer with the police department is really all I can say.

And, uh, I don't want to speak ill of, of he or she, but just, you know, I would have done things differently.

I guess it was the best way I can put it.

Okay.

Uh, and to be clear, my department didn't do anything wrong.

They, you know, the, the detective was advised, uh,

or she really didn't do anything and the upper command staff did not know what was going on um at that particular moment it wasn't until i told them hey we got a serious situation here that they knew of this incident or whatever so i would say that there were the detective could have done more right now obviously but once again at this point it

Again, I don't really – Probably doesn't mean that it necessarily would have changed anything.

Yeah, I don't think it would have changed much of anything, but that is kind of the way it played out.

So that being said, I get down to this bar parking lot, and there's, lo and behold, is her vehicle.

And they were – the daughter, like, had a spare key, so we were able to get into it.

And she's got, like, kind of like a go bag in there with, you know, some of her property items.

I believe her driver's license and everything was inside there.

Her Fitbit wristwatch was inside and it just seemed like

This is now, like, there's no doubt to me whatsoever that something, like, nefarious has gone on here.
