And this kind of lays our groundwork where then we'll move into kind of historical storytelling and then
the witch trials of Europe, which preceded the witch trials of Salem, Massachusetts, ending then with a very specific story and then culminating with kind of the characteristics one would expect from a werewolf.
And then some modern theories that attempt to answer maybe what actually was going on underneath some of these real stories.
Any thoughts before we dive in?
Do you know how far back we're about to go?
I mean, since you're putting so much on that, like, the time period, I'm thinking we go drastically far back.
Yes, sir.
And, man, like, when you go that far back, it always reminds me of a scene from M. Night Shyamalan's Unbreakable.
Okay.
Where he talks about comic books, and he's like, what if it was all from something that was original that that happened?
what if people do have these little abilities and over time has been glorified and chewed up by the media and spit out is this like over the top thing but what if it all originated from something that was very simple yeah a person just a little little tiny bit abnormally stronger than another than the average person oh i like that
What if we're just going back and it might be someone that just was a lot hairier, they're a lot more in tune with nature or something like that, or just little subtle things, nothing too crazy.
Just like that's a normal human being.
They just are, you know, they just specialize in a certain way or they just have these little extra perks and abilities in their stat board that makes them a little over the top.
But, you know, and then over time, the stories have become glorified and,
Right, right.
They just evolve slowly over centuries, right?
Yeah.
Well, that's a very good instinct, and I love where your head is at.
It is a great primer to where we're about to start, because written history goes very, very far back.
