All right, well, let's kind of wrap her up here.

So modern werewolves, we know they've infiltrated media, their stories at least twice a decade, if not, especially in recent years, more than that.

But the stories of this creature have continued to evolve and change with time.

You know, in fiction, werewolves are often depicted as having near superhuman strength,

Typically, modern times, silver is their weakness.

Silver bullet, silver blade.

In some depictions, silver is so strong that even the slightest touch will cause burns and scars, whether it's human form or wolf form.

It's like it will maim them.

And then in modern depictions, you've got the term, finally, lycanthropy is usually a hereditary condition or is transmitted by a bite.

from one werewolf to another.

So if their victim doesn't die, they kind of become another werewolf themselves.

Not too dissimilar to vampires, but lycanthropy, just to finally define it, it's the ability to turn into a wolf.

Additionally, animalistic urges are intensified in this wolf form, especially in the modern versions.

So it takes on a level of aggressiveness and hunger.

It's uncurable.

Or actually, I have seen stories where it is curable.

Typically, it's kind of like people go, let's put it down.

But apparently there are some versions where it's curable via a medicine, an antidote, usually an herbal remedy of a kind.

So while there's not a whole lot to say on this front, I'm glad we have it here.
