Now the pair had set out to go what's called spotlighting.
I'd never heard of this before, but apparently it was pretty common.
It is a term used to describe a type of night hunting in which one person would use a flashlight to identify an animal somewhere in the dark.
Usually I think to illuminate the eyes, not so much as to like illuminate the entire woods.
Right.
Exactly.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
So deer have that, dude, if you're ever in the woods and you see a thousand of those, spiders.
Yep.
And so that's a good example of, you know, different scale, but, you know, animals very similar.
So one would illuminate the eyes of a creature while the other then would fire at the animal.
Now, I should say spotlighting was deemed illegal in Arkansas, but that didn't stop these two boys from going out.
They're both avid hunters.
It could be.
I mean, I didn't look that closely, to be totally honest.

My first instinct is hunting in the dark is just precarious.
It's dangerous.
You don't know if there's, that's usually why you wear bright orange.
And so you can see a hunter, even if they're camouflaged.
