There's something that I said in the TED Talk in terms of hope that I think is really important.
And it was actually a mentor who pointed this out to me.
If you believe that something bad is inevitable, can you think of solutions to that problem while you're holding that it's inevitable?
You can't.
It's almost like it puts these blinders on.
And if you step out of the logic of it's inevitable and recognize the crucial difference between it's inevitable and this is really hard and I don't see an easy path, now stand from a new place.
