And then the wall is just an ancient monument for everyone to wander about for centuries to go, isn't it?

And we've half covered the latest story of the wall in the Roman times, but then also shone a light on the fascinating afterlife of Hadrian's Wall, which is an amazing story in itself that deserves more attention, quite frankly.

And the archaeology is...

bringing that story to the fore.
