So the things that were stolen from me by this process, I will never get back.
Yes, I was.
Well, I've always been a bit of a nerd.
You just gifted me this Bible from the 1800s, and you didn't know that I collect vintage and antique books before you gifted me this.
So I've always been an avid reader and an avid bookworm, let's say.
And it was my love of European history, I think, that reawoken my interest in Christianity.
I think it was through no fault of my own that I was forced to leave Indiana, which is a very Christian part of the world, very Christian part of the United States, certainly.
And I moved to a town called Luton in England as a young kid.
Now, Luton, England is famous for many things.
It's famous for terrorist attacks.
It's famous for being a hotbed of extremism, Islamic extremism.
The July 7th bombings of the London Underground, you're probably too young to remember.
But it's an event I remember very well.
And those people came from Luton.
They were trained in Luton.
And going to school there...
I think there was just absolutely no culture of Christianity.
So when it became obvious to me that all these different people had all these various different beliefs, I remember speaking to a Sikh who I went to school with, and I thought, what do you mean you don't believe in Jesus?
What do you mean you're not a Christian?
What do you mean you don't believe in God, like as I thought of God?
