Assistant for a couple years behind some guys.
Giving this guy an opportunity, obviously, you know, everyone knows he's got a good name.
You know, I remember talking to Vincent Trocek in the summer, and he goes, you guys will love this guy.
This guy's a workhorse.
He's so good at explaining the game.
And he wants to hear other people's opinions.
And he's willing to sit down and take the time to hear what you have to say.
But to go on a limb and to pick up guys like that, when things can go south and now his job's on the line, that's a big...
big risk he took that worked out.
Is it still the first year?
Yes, but from all the pieces he's built up, all that stuff, and then you talk about Muse, I would love to hear the conversation
dan muse and carlson and letang have about hey how they need to change the way they play because they are they are changing the way they play and it's so great to see it's not like they're these guys that i feel like they're not chasing points anymore right the points are coming and they know they have to be offensive but they also know they can't let their offense affect their defensive play and that's where they've been way better from the pinch
Way better.

You know what I mean?
There's nothing better than finding your game and helping a team win.
When you're getting paid big bucks and you suck on the ice, you'll give all that money back to find your game again.
And that's where I think it could come into conversation like, hey, we have something good going on here.
Would you take this for another year or two?
And that's where I think that might be the convincing thing.
