But yeah, so it was something that I was in this kind of classic position of, okay, do I try to really keep investing to grow this?
Do I just let this kind of hang out and pay me a salary while I do other stuff?
Um, or do I sell it?
And, and so that was on my mind quite a bit.
When I met Kevin, we had a beer and, and, you know, he was saying, look, this is what I do.
I buy these kinds of businesses, you know, I love to talk.
Um, and so kind of had the conversation with, with Kevin felt like it was getting real.
And to your point about a bidding war, I, you know, I don't think I necessarily, um,
wanted to create a bidding war per se but i do often tell folks in any kind of like high stakes negotiation like that and this is not something i invented like the what is it the um next best alternative or whatever yeah
Yeah, like it's all basically investing as heavily as you can into your plan B is the best way to get the absolute best outcome out of your plan A. And so I was like, okay, well, if I'm going to do this, I'm going to do this.

So you have to stall them for three months while this other person gets
there.
So you wanted to like, so I just, I took a process and basically tighten that for me.
Oh man, I have no idea.
Um, I guess I ultimately, I got probably a dozen serious conversations, um, that I felt like, you know, I mean, one of the good things was because I'd been so transparent throughout the whole process, the diligence process is actually quite easy.
It was just like, Hey, look, I mean, you know,
