When the Homeland Security Secretary and the Attorney General were brought down to Capitol Hill to answer questions from lawmakers, instead of sort of being conciliatory and saying, yes, some of our officers made some mistakes, they doubled down on it.

The Democrats, I think, have some very simple demands, demands that local law enforcement here in New York, in D.C., in L.A., in small parts of the country have to follow.
You have to identify yourself as you're in office.
You have to have a warrant issued by a judge.
Those are all things that most Americans agree should happen when you're engaging with law enforcement.
And what Democrats are trying to do in this piece of legislation is say this, too, should apply for federal law enforcement officers, especially when they're enforcing immigration laws, when we've seen them capture Americans who are citizens and said, oops, we didn't mean to do that, when we see them arrest five-year-olds, unleash tear gas at schools.
The question we should be asking ourselves, whether you're a Democrat or a Republican, is do you like what you're seeing on your television screens?
Is it OK with you that two Americans die from peaceful protesting?
