Well, let's look at this year's fifth-round rookie, Keyshawn Elliott, the linebacker out of ASU, who I believe it was Dane Brugler who said that this was highway robbery.
for the Bears to have gotten Keyshawn Elliott, the linebacker, where they got him.
He's an intriguing prospect who, like so many of these rookies, you look at him and say, I don't see a spot for you right now, but certainly as the season goes on and certainly next year when you look at the linebacker's room with TJ Edwards, you don't know exactly what you're going to get out of him.
You wrote, I mean, Devin Bush, we are sure about.
DeMarco Jackson, we are sure about in terms of he will be there.
And Jack Sanborn, of course, we are all sure about him.
You know what we're getting out of him is what did I give him?
Well, no, he could have done more to keep himself with the bears.
He could have had an interception.
He could have forced a fumble on special teams somewhere along the line, and I would have been happy to, look, I'm hard on the ones we love.
He gets the automatic five bears for being from here.
Well, I do applaud your humility because your line was, how can you give that man more bears?
Or no, I gave you more bears, Laila Rahimi, than I gave Jack Sanborn, and you were insulted by that for him.
I actually talked about this the other day with Russ because he was wondering.
The bears, that's been going on since high school.
