Yeah, and they've tried some zone. We saw that again last night. But man, OKC, maybe because they saw some reps against Denver and they feel more comfortable in it. They were doing the thing to beat the zone, right? It was Caruso in the inside of the middle of it. Hartenstein had his little floater going a few times that they tried to implement it.
So like nothing that they're throwing at the Thunder. They're like, OK, we're comfortable with that. We're going to be happy with our shot. And this is all to say they're up 2-0. What happens when they start hitting threes? There's going to be a game here where the Thunder actually hit threes. They were garbage again. They can't hit threes the entire postseason.

They were like the fifth or sixth best three-point shooting team during the regular season when they won 68 games. They have not even played their best, which is insane to say to me. That's going to happen one of these games. A couple of those guys would be unleashed and those are going to start dropping. Then we're going to have a 30-40 point blowout here.

It feels like you have to play a perfect game. Somebody who wasn't perfect last night after a great first half in Game 1 was Julius Randle, TK, who maybe had, well, he had easily his worst game of this postseason.

Maybe his worst game ever in the playoffs, and we had talked about a lot of those pretty brutal performances when he was with the Knicks in a few playoff games, but this was very bad, and he got benched, like you said, in the fourth quarter. Deservedly so, because he had nothing going. He couldn't even score inside in this game.

I heard Brian Windhorst compare the Thunder's defense when they start to go to the next level, usually in the third quarter. He compared it to the Kraken because of all their tentacles. Because there's guys everywhere slapping away, deflecting, and then they're off and running. I like that, but I was watching the game thinking...

The defense ratchets up as the game goes on, and it's almost like a hydraulic press is what I was thinking, or even like an anaconda choking you out because it's just constant, but it's just constant in that regard where it's like suddenly you start suffocating. And again, it's usually in the third quarter where it was an eight-point game at the half.
