The defense ratchets up as the game goes on, and it's almost like a hydraulic press is what I was thinking, or even like an anaconda choking you out because it's just constant, but it's just constant in that regard where it's like suddenly you start suffocating. And again, it's usually in the third quarter where it was an eight-point game at the half.

They sort of let go of the rope right at the end of it, like you said, a couple plays their task. So it got to eight for OKC. Then RJ's even on the call right to start the second half. He's like, they've got to toughen up. And they sort of did for a second. You had Gobert grabbing some offensive rebounds finally. Mini went on a little 7-0 run.

But just as that third quarter went on, it was all that defense, all that suffocating, the hydraulic press pressuring down. And it was suddenly 93-71 at the end of the third quarter. Again, similar to Game 1, where they blew it open and held on enough. Now, some mini fight in the fourth. They could have rolled over and died. I think they got it to maybe 10 with, like, three minutes to go.

But then it was J-Dub, three. It was SGA slithering his way for a layup. And then it was Chet Holmgren scoring inside. So, like, they're three star players. A guy we haven't even mentioned yet who had a really good game.

Awesome. I at least like the fight from, from Minnie. And maybe, you know, part of that was, yeah, benching Randall and let's go guys here. Like let's take some momentum, if anything, try and unlock something back to Minnesota, but you think that'll work?

You talk about this idea about dropping off and having the guy shoot threes. One, I don't think he's stupid enough to do it. I think he sort of learned his lesson when he went for those home run kills in that series, that one game where he was trying to put Denver to bed with a three-point shot and couldn't hit them. So there's that. And then Mike Conley says the opposite.

He sort of called out his bigs, actually. He said, Shea's one of the best in the world to get to a spot rise up. Our bigs have got to be up. Our guards have to be ready to switch stuff and take away the middie. It's no longer one of those we'll settle for mid-range shot type series. You can't give it up to these guys. These guys make that shot.
