That's on their drivers.
And so if they get more and more squeezed, whether there'll be some kind of amendment to the percentage that they pay to Uber drivers or what.
Like it's, yeah, it's very much, you can kind of tap in, tap out in terms of like being an Uber driver or not.
But there were some big tax changes in the UK that have actually impacted this result by a billion dollars.
And that was that because they don't hire Uber drivers as employees, their contractors, Uber was able to kind of skirt around paying VAT, so like GST, or paying tax only on that four pounds.
Oh, that's so clever.
The UK government was like, no, no, no.
The whole service is 20 pounds.
You need to pay on the 20 pounds.
And so in London, that's why it's probably, you know, there's less drivers.
It's more expensive because Uber has to pay on the full 20.
Outside of London, they managed to get away with it.
So they're only paying on the Uber fee portion, that VAT amount.
So it's been a short-term impact.
But yeah, I don't know.
I just think Uber, the way that they think about
The long term, it's very different to a lot of businesses and a lot of CEOs that are very short term focused.
Like this business, they just want to be the super app that everyone uses for their lives.
