In 308, I'm less interested because I could just AR-10.

If it was in some long-action cartridge or something that was a little bit more, oh, niche for hunting purposes, I might be more into it.

I guess CVA caught my attention this time around.

They have released a single shot break action 28 gauge targeted at turkey hunters.

comes with a double full turkey choke uh picatinny rail on top it's got kind of a short barrel to it it's not it's not super long or anything um but yeah i think a turkey hunt i don't think of 28 gauge

You know, I'm certain that there is ammo out there that is correct for 28 gauge for turkeys.

Kind of like you have 410 turkey loads that are perfectly good for like 40, 50 yard shots on turkeys.

But I found this interesting.

The price is a little high.

Oh, actually, no.

MSRP starts at $544, so it's going to come in well under that.

But...

I could get this, and I could replace the choke with a normal choke and put a red dot on it, and I can hand it to the kid, and it would be better than a 20 gauge.

And, you know, 28 is actually more common than 410 at this point.

So, you know, a nice little single shot that you can use for all kinds of stuff.

It's pretty light.
