no Ari Styles for me oh but why can't you do a matinee anyway over the years I've taught in different schools and privately and I've honestly never had any issues with parents or students recently I was covering maternity leave for another piano teacher at a music school on Saturdays she was due to come back which meant I'd be finished up there and finally get my weekends back before she returned though the teacher asked if I'd continue teaching one family privately because she couldn't fit two siblings into her new schedule

I agreed because it seemed manageable.

Two kids, same house, local to me, only an hour on Saturdays.

The mom was always lovely.

We got on well whenever I saw her and I'd even make little bracelets and key rings for the kids because they were sweet.

The first lesson at their house went fine.

At one point, the little boy got so excited showing me his Lego sets.

I was hyping him up because honestly, they were pretty impressive.

Then he asked me to take a picture of one tiny Lego figurine because he thought it was his favorite and he wanted me to remember it.

I tried to brush past it, but he got really insistent and wouldn't let go.

So eventually, I just took a quick photo.

The photo was literally only the Lego figurine sitting in the palm of my hand.

No child, no room, no identifying background, nothing.

I left.

The mom said she'd store payments on Revolut later and everything seemed completely normal.
